Comments:I am your family when I was a child living in Indian Lake (NY). You guys visited in the summer of 1969 & 70.(?) Big news for such a little town. The school song was (and probably still is) Indian Lake (Band leader Pete Eckhardt). You were my "hero" for another reason. I remember seeing you on the Virginia Graham Show, before you went to Viet Nam. I remembered the sense of duty and courage I had seen in you when it became my time to serve my country. I have always thought in the back of my mind that it would be nice to convey this to you some day. So I have. Isn't technology great? Wishes granted etc....
