I was sending an email to someone last night and as I sometimes do I wrote, because of the variety of content or other ideas, 'the rain, the park, replicating websites and other things" because that song has stayed with me since my adolesence. well I went online to find it, having recently found "You Tube' and WOLLA ... I found it. I could NOT believe it, is THAT what you guys looked like ... absolutely great hearing the song, and Indian Lake ... WOW.. I drove my family mad singing that song all the time. great catching up with you and hearing the music again. great work and thanks for the memories. And it has been raining here today, I have always loved the rain, and I am not sure if that was because of the song or the other way around. all the best, Lyle.

Dear Folks,
Let me just say that your song, The Rain The Park And Other Things, is one of the most underrated pop songs of all time! More than just about any song, it epitomizes the spirit and ambience of the sixties. Wonderfully uplifting lyrics, sunshiny spirit, great, layered vocals, and perfectly appropriate instrumentation. Whenever I hear it, I get chills...it's one of those rare tunes that is truly audio sunshine!
So, let me thank you for The Rain The Park And Other Things --- a real reflection of what the mood of flower-power should be!
God bless and take care.

Sincerely,
Jack (and Gladys)
p.s. My sincere condolences for the loss of your musical family members.

Just want to thank you for the wonderful concert we got to hear while we were visiting EPCOT last month. We were celebrating our 30th anniversary that night and it really made it special. You all still sound just as terrific as ever. I was able to see you almost 40 years ago when you performed in Atlantic City. It was so much fun for both of us to enjoy your music together this time. Best wishes and God bless!

Just heard today on local radio (the DJ had a tribute to you) that you were still around. Absolutely loved you when I was a teenager. Have a record of you which I still play. (I have a record player as well as all the modern stuff) Great music always lives on!

Dear Cowsill family, I just found your website, and am thrilled to hear that you are recording again. I just turned 60 years old last April, so I was in my teens when your early recordings were released. I grew up in Sherman Oaks, Ca.- just over the hills from the sunset strip. I began playing guitar in 1963, and by the following year, found myself in a surf band called THE DELTAYS. By 1967 I was playing with a rock trio called THE JULES TIMER CO. A year later, the Army drafted and sent me to Vietnam. My plans were to return to music upon returning home, but never managed to. I just wanted to say how much I've always loved your records, which I still play to this day. I'm looking forward to hearing your new material. I had the privilage of seeing two of your shows back in 1971 at Knotts Berry Farm at the old John Wayne Theatre. Do you remember those shows? My Mom was still living then, and was with us that night, and I remember her commenting what a nice voice you Mom had. I've only now learned of the loss of your brother Barry. I am truely sadened by this news, but rest assured that he is in a better place now. Keep on playing and singing Cowsills. I love you guys!!! Sincerely, Harold

I suppose I could trace my love for an over-bitten smile back to Susan. Upon reviewing the youtube offerings I was smitten all over again by her self-possession and poise at such a young age. This was evidently due to a familial love and support and I find myself extremely moved by this connectedness. I love this family and can only imagine that their hardships have galvanized them into an even tighter unit. Thank you Cowsills for your talent, courage and stamina. God bless you all.

I was born in 1955 so I was about 12 yrs. old when the Cowsills were getting real popular. I always liked their music but had forgotten about them until I saw some clips on You Tube. I think most fans my age feel like the Cowsills are more than just entertainers we've known them for so long and they are such nice people that it seems like they are relatives... good relatives though the kind that you miss when they are away

Hello Cowsills! I saw you guys perform at the Cohasset Music Circus in '70 or '71 (still have some pictures.) I was maybe 12 years old and already a fan. My older sister moved to Newport when she got married, and it was from her that I learned about your band. These days my brother and I do genealogy research, and we both looked at each other and laughed, when the name "Cowsill" came up as one of our family names. Related? We'll know eventually. Probably not. But hey, it could happen!
