| Billy had a
very tough time of it in a few years ago with hip replacement
surgery, back surgery, emphysema, osteoporosis and other
problems. Family, friends and fans were very supportive of Billy
during this time with a benefit concert in Canada and "A
Family Thing 2" put on by the Cowsill family.
Unfortunately, Billy never was able to bounce back and we lost
him on February 18, 2006. Billy is survived by five of his
siblings and two sons. We invite you to leave your thoughts

On the Floor of Heaven: Remembering Billy Cowsill, was held at the Knox United Church in Calgary. On May 20, 2006, a memorial mass for Billy was held by the Cowsill family at St. Augustin's Catholic Church in Newport, RI.
